My latest project came about because I am selfish. Well not really selfish, I just knew my friend had a LOT of info I needed but no vehicle to share it. Here’s the breakdown.
~My friend Colleen lovingly recommends I try gluten-free living because it has helped her and her family.
~I ignore my friend because BREAD – I LOVE BREAD.
~Fast forward a couple of years, many emails with great info from Colleen, many years of not feeling great.
~Daughter turns 13 and needs some help with her god-awful acne – Dr. and Research recommends: GLUTEN FREE LIVING
~I show-up to Colleen’s home for a Gluten-Free pantry tour and beg her to share her experience for other slow-learners like myself
The Dish On Healing is the awesome blog from Colleen Cimador. Here is a little background on how we created Colleen’s brand and blog.
BRAND: We started by brainstorming names. It’s amazing what you can create over lunch with a thesaurus and Go Daddy account. Colleen literally HEALED her body by changing her eating habits, so we did a play on that concept and The Dish on Healing was created.
LOGO: Her son had requested that a spoon or fork be used in the design so our “I” is actually a fork. Healing was the most important part of her message so we made sure that word was the focal point of the design.
WEBSITE: Colleen and I sat together looking at different layouts and options. We settled on the Sugar & Spice WordPress Theme. It was clean and simple and a breeze (ok maybe not breezy, but easy compared to many) to install and customize. Here is a screenshot of The Dish On Healing website. Isn’t she pretty?
Colleen has worked so very hard to heal her family and to share that experience with all of you. Her hope is to make your journey to living a healthy life a little bit easier and a lot less lonely. She is the dream client and more importantly such a wonderful friend. CCM is proud to introduce you to The Dish On Healing.
